Summer breakfast smoothies to keep you full until lunch!

Smoothies are a great breakfast, especially in the summer! Be sure to add healthy fats, and protein to keep you full for hours. Here are some recipes that utilize summer fruits and veggies. (From Kelly Leveque)




"Tropical Treat"

  • -1 scoop of vanilla protein powder or collagen powder

  • -1 TBSP of almond or peanut butter

  • -2 TBSP chia seeds

  • -a handful of spinach

  • -1/4 cup pineapple (fresh or frozen)

  • -1-2 cups of almond milk

  • -ice

  • -shredded coconut (optional)









"Cookies and Cream"

  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder

  • 1 TBSP almond or peanut butter

  • 1 TBSP chia seeds or flax seeds

  • 1/4 cup frozen (or fresh) blueberries

  • 1-2 cups almond milk

  • ice

  • hemp seeds (optional)



"Peanut Butter & Jelly"

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

  • 1/4 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)

  • 1-2 TBSP peanut butter

  • 1-2 flax or chia seeds

  • 1-2 cups almond milk

  • ice
